Traxxas Awarded 5 New Patents

McKinney, Texas, based RC vehicle maker Traxxas was recognized by business site Dallas Innovates as one of the top innovative companies in North Texas for five new design patents.

The patents cover three model vehicle bodies, a grille guard, and a bumper, as the company promotes its product innovation.

Previously, Traxxas announced an upgrade to its electric motors. The new Velineon 3s Brushless Power System is designed to deliver improved torque, efficiency, and durability in the company’s 1/10-scale vehicles, Traxxas said in the announcement. It also unveiled a refreshed VX3 lineup, including the Slash, Rustler, and Stampede models.
